The Company
A well-established Christchurch-based surveying practice is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to lead their in-house civil engineering capability. This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on technical role while shaping the future direction of the civil function within a growing business.
The Role
- Deliver civil design across subdivisions, rural developments, multi-unit projects, and 3 waters infrastructure
- Set up and manage civil engineering systems, templates, and modelling processes
- Work closely with an established surveying team and support project delivery
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to maintaining strong relationships
About You
- 8–15 years’ civil engineering experience, ideally within the Christchurch/NZ market
- Strong land development civil design capability across land development and three waters related projects
- Confident working both independently and within a small team environment
- Client-facing with strong communication skills
- Motivated by the opportunity to build and grow a function within a business
- CPEng NZ is essential
