Skills Group is looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Site Coordinator to join our Trades Training team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based at our Christchurch campus, you'll also provide operational support to our Nelson campus, playing a key role in ensuring both sites deliver an outstanding experience for learners, tutors, employers, and visitors.
This is a varied role where you'll coordinate day-to-day campus operations, provide exceptional administrative support, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and help create a welcoming, well-organised environment where training can thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Christchurch campus while supporting our Nelson campus
- Provide exceptional customer service to learners, tutors, employers, and visitors via phone, email, and in person
- Coordinate class scheduling, learner records, attendance, assessments, and course administration
- Manage campus facilities, resources, suppliers, and operational logistics to support effective training delivery
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless learner experience
- Resolve operational issues proactively while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
What You'll Bring
- Experience in administration, site coordination, or office operations within a busy environment
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for helping people
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems calmly and efficiently
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems such as LMS or student management platforms
