About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We have 3 x 12-month fixed term opportunities for experienced Project Managers (PM) based in Wellington. As one of the PMs in the Provider Payments Programme, you'll lead the delivery of initiatives across the 5 different projects that make up the programme - the projects range from getting business groups ready for the change through to design, development and delivery of core ACC systems. All projects will require PMs capable of delivering to all phases of the project, from requirements gathering through to implementation. We are looking for both technical and business-focused project managers.

The Provider Payments Programme has been established to address critical operational risks and capability limitations within ACC's current Provider Payments environment. ACC's legacy platform no longer supports how we intend to commission and pay for services in the future; this has created growing sustainability, data quality, and operational resilience risks. The current environment will be replaced with modern, cloud-based payment and record management solutions, uplifting core business capabilities, improve end-to-end processing, and increase the use of digital and self-service channels.

As a Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of projects that support business and technical outcomes across ACC. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams and leaders, you'll be responsible for:

• Defining and managing project scope, objectives, success measures and milestones, bringing structure and clarity to a complex set of projects.
• Developing and maintaining timelines, budgets, risks and resources to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve their intended benefits.
• Coordinating engagement with multiple internal stakeholder groups from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Ensuring appropriate reporting is in place for projects and feeds into programme and governance documentation.
• Managing relationships with internal and external partners and vendors to ensure there are robust planning and delivery processes in place.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 - $166,288 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
