Senior Housing Key worker - Kaimahi Matua

About The Role

As Senior Key Worker in the Supportive Housing team, you will provide leadership, practice guidance, mentoring and training to Key Workers. You will also attend HomeGround service meetings as required.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the Supportive Housing Manager and Team Leader to deliver high-quality services and foster collaborative, innovative and professional practice.
• Manage a caseload of whānau living at HomeGround, and coordinate and lead key activities such as case reviews, client file assessments and health reviews.
• Use trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches to support whānau in sustaining their tenancies.
• Develop and embed new processes, forms, templates and ways of working to improve Supportive Housing services.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality records and documentation, meet KPIs, and protect client confidentiality and privacy.

What We Are Looking For

• A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally with a focus on social work, mental health, and/or addictions.
• Capacity to demonstrate through actions commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Mission’s values of Manaakitanga, Atawhai, Rangapū and Mana Tika, Mana Ōrite.
• Previous experience working with clients who have complex needs including trauma, mental health, addiction, poverty, and homelessness, and experience managing a complex caseload.
• Aptitude for getting things done through formal and informal channels.
• A full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
