We are looking to recruit for Customer Service & Vehicle Rental Grooming roles, based in Queenstown. You will be an integral part of the customer service team at Hireace, assisting customers with all their vehicle rental needs and enquiries.

Hireace and Bargain Rentals is a reputable, New Zealand-owned business with fifteen branches nationwide, stretching from Auckland to Queenstown. Hireace focuses on commercial vehicle and trailer hire, while Bargain Rentals specialises in car hire services.

About the role

What you'll be doing - Customer Service Role

1. Providing exceptional customer service to customers, both in-person and over the phone
2. Helping customers with vehicle rentals, including reservations, pickups and drop-offs
3. Ensuring all rental paperwork is completed accurately and on time
4. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to best assist customers
5. Identifying and resolving any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner
6. Drive the shuttle bus to and from the airport to collect and drop off customers

What you'll be doing - Vehicle Rental Grooming Role

1. Keep the fleet groomed in a timely manner and to high standards
2. Carry out the required vehicle paperwork to ensure compliance
3. Move vehicles to and from external suppliers

What we're looking for

1. Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally in the vehicle rental or automotive industry
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a warm and friendly manner
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
5. Familiarity with vehicle rental processes and procedures
6. A full NZ Driver's Licence is required with experience driving manual vehicles

Hours of Work

To cover a 7-day operation, you will be expected to work rostered hours, including one day of the weekend.
