Administration Services Team Leader

We're looking for an experienced Administration Services Team Leader to lead our administration team while providing high-level support to the General Manager and Hauora Ability Services Management Team.
About The Role
Working with the General Manager Hauora Ability Services, you'll help coordinate organisational priorities, support effective decision-making and ensure key projects, meetings and administrative processes stay on track. At the same time, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to our administration team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, learning and excellent customer service.

As technology, AI and modern business systems continue to change the way administration works, we're looking for someone who enjoys improving systems, building capability in others, and creating an administration service that is proactive, responsive and continually improving.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the administration services team
- Support the General Manager and Management Team, coordinating information and actions to support effective decision-making
- Monitor progress on key initiatives and ensure actions are followed through
- Leverage technology and business systems to improve administrative processes and service consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and organisational capability
- Build trusted relationships across managers, staff, residents and whānau
About You
We're looking for an experienced administration leader who enjoys supporting others to succeed, improving systems, and bringing order to complexity. You'll be highly organised, exercise sound judgement, and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
We are particularly seeking someone who has the following experience and attributes:
- Proven experience leading and developing people in an administrative or business support environment
- Experience in healthcare, disability or community services (preferred)
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and modern business systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and adapt in a dynamic environment

Hauora Ability Services supports people living with disability to lead engaging and fulfilling lives. Our 60-room residential site is situated in attractive grounds in Halswell with award-winning gardens. The facility has an onsite gym and Rehabilitation and Therapy team, who support residents living in our care. Our services employ over 300 people in Canterbury and Wellington.
