About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As Manager, Data Quality & Governance, you will lead ACC's enterprise approach to data governance, data quality, information management and knowledge management. This newly established leadership role will drive the frameworks, standards, stewardship and governance practices that ensure organisational data is trusted, well managed and used responsibly. You will lead a capable team, influence senior stakeholders across ACC and external partners, and help shape the future of digital transformation, AI enablement and automation while contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
The appointing salary for this role is $164,705 - $213,148 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
About you | Mōu
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading enterprise data governance and data quality strategies within large and complex organisations.
- Demonstrated success embedding governance frameworks, standards, controls and accountability models at scale.
- Experience leading data quality improvement programmes and delivering measurable organisational and customer outcomes.
- Strong people leadership capability with experience building high-performing teams and developing capability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of information management, metadata, data lifecycle management, data standards and knowledge management practices.
- Experience partnering with privacy, legal, risk, ethics and policy functions to support responsible data use.
- Understanding of digital transformation, AI enablement and automation environments.
- Proven application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and understanding of Māori data sovereignty principles.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information management, data, technology, business or a related discipline.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
- Satisfactory credit check required prior to appointment.
