About the role
Our market leading Property team are looking for a senior associate to join our Auckland team.
This team works on some of the most significant and exciting commercial real estate matters in New Zealand. Our clients comprise the full spectrum of real estate market participants, including developers, investors, iwi groups, government, and local authorities.
You will advise on a broad range of commercial property work, including acquisitions and disposals, large-scale development projects, leasing, and property finance. The role offers genuine career progression, exposure to market-leading work, and the support of a high-performing, collaborative team.
Experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in commercial property law (top – tier background preferred)
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Commercially astute with excellent client relationship skills
- Proven ability to manage transactions independently
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Broad experience in real estate transactional work
- Ambitious, collaborative, and driven to succeed in a high-performance environment.
