HEB Construction is entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion, and we are seeking expressions of interest from highly experienced Construction Managers to play a leading role in delivering some of New Zealand’s most significant infrastructure projects. We have opportunities for senior roles in Auckland for key projects.

As part of the VINCI Construction, HEB delivers complex, large-scale civil infrastructure that sustains and supports communities – including major roading construction, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure, and marine works.

About The Roles

These roles play a critical leadership function in construction delivery, driving the successful delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects. As a Construction Manager within our National Projects area, you will lead project teams to achieve exceptional outcomes across safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.

Key Areas Of Focus Include

  • Providing visible leadership across all aspects of construction delivery on major projects
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Leading and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary construction teams
  • Proactively managing project risks, programme and constructability to drive successful outcomes
  • Embedding a strong culture of Zero Harm, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients, partners and project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

We are looking to connect with senior construction leaders who bring:

  • Extensive experience delivering major earthworks and civil construction projects exceeding $100 million in value
  • Strong background in tendering, early contractor involvement (ECI), pre-construction planning and temporary works management
  • Proven leadership capability of large multidisciplinary teams across complex infrastructure and earthworks programmes
  • Commercially astute with a strong record of achieving safety, programme, quality and financial targets
  • Inspirational people leader who builds engaged, high performing teams and strong client relationships
  • Values-led and collaborative, demonstrating behaviours aligned with Real, Open, Together, Care and Deliver
