Capital Project Manager – Hokitika

Join us in delivering impactful capital projects at our Hokitika site, leading the planning, coordination and execution of projects from concept through to completion. Reporting to the Site Capital Projects Manager, you’ll be working within our Capital PMO framework, you'll develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets, coordinate resources across multiple disciplines, and work closely with stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

You'll play a key role in supporting site growth and continuous improvement, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

A Bit About You

You’re an experienced Capital Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering capital projects in industrial, manufacturing or engineering environments. Skilled in planning, budgeting and coordinating complex projects from concept through to commissioning, you can effectively manage contractors, suppliers and cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes. You are confident managing risk, balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing project requirements while maintaining project momentum.

You’ll be a strong communicator and relationship builder, work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and can influence others. You also bring a strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Westland Milk Products is a well‑known New Zealand end‑to‑end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island, with production facilities in both Christchurch and Hokitika. This role sits within our Capital Projects business unit, supporting the delivery of strategic projects that enable our long‑term growth and operational excellence.
