Senior Research Officer (Clinical Trial) - School of Allied Health

The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

We have a fixed-term, part-time (15-22.5 hours per week) opportunity for a Clinical Trial Research Officer to make significant impact and develop their career in research.

We are open to expertise across areas relevant to the School of Allied Health, Department of Physiotherapy. We are especially interested in applicants who can contribute to a collaborative research team from Auckland University of Technology, The Auckland Regional Pain Service and Peke Waihanga. This team is conducting a clinical trial of 48 participants experiencing ongoing pain following major lower-limb amputation. The study aims to determine whether Botox injections can effectively reduce residual limb pain compared to a control condition. This investigator-initiated research is funded by Auckland Medical Research Foundation.

• A postgraduate degree in a health-related field or equivalent health experience would be desirable.
