As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll combine data, curiosity and problem solving to deliver insights that influence portfolio performance and growth. You’ll work alongside experienced pricing professionals, contributing to pricing initiatives across our brands while building your analytical capability. Whether you’re reviewing performance trends, supporting rate changes or uncovering opportunities within the data, your work will help create better outcomes for both customers and the business. This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) or Ōtautahi (Christchurch).
Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do
- Deliver pricing analysis and operational pricing activities that support portfolio performance and strategic business objectives.
- Complete rate reviews and ad hoc pricing requests, ensuring work is delivered accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Monitor portfolio performance following pricing changes, identifying trends and insights to inform future decisions
- Generate and interpret analytics that help improve business performance and support profitable portfolio growth
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand priorities and support effective decision making
- Contribute to risk management, compliance activities and adherence to pricing principles and governance requirements
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring
- A quantitative degree in mathematics, statistics, science or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to interpret information to draw meaningful conclusions
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive mindset, curiosity to learn and enthusiasm for developing analytical expertise.
- Exposure to analytical tools such as R, SAS, SQL or Tableau, or a willingness to build these skills.
- Experience in a similar analytical environment is valued but not essential
