Electronics Repair Technician

Looking for an experienced component level logic board repair technician.

Our main business is Phone Repair, Computer Repair and Automotive Electronics (ECU/TCU) Repair.

We are a team of eleven looking for someone with at least five years of experience in component level repairs to join our team.

Our company has three physical locations in central Wellington, New Zealand.

We have professional but relaxed atmosphere.

The position of Technician at Device Repair Guy is a hands on job. You will be experienced in:

- Troubleshooting faulty laptops, phones, automotive electronics and other electronic devices.

- Repair of devices by replacing device components (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc).

- Reading of PCB schemas.

- Repair of device logic boards by performing PCB repair.

- Component level repair using micro-soldering.

- Reapir or electronic devices.

- Testing repaired devices.

- Providing quotes for repair jobs.

- Recoding details about performed repairs.

- Explaining repair process to the front staff and customers when required.

Electronic engineering degree is not an absolute requirement but an important advantage.

This is not a full customer service role but you would be required to talk to customers about the repairs from time to time so clear communication skills are very important.
