Account Manager - Waikato

As an Account Manager / Media Specialist at NZME, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, creating smart, audience-led advertising solutions that deliver results. Combining relationship management, commercial acumen and media expertise, you'll help clients unlock the full value of NZME's market-leading brands and platforms while driving revenue growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll be responsible for growing and nurturing a portfolio of clients, developing multimedia campaigns that connect brands with audiences and deliver commercial success.

In this role, you'll:

• Build strong client relationships and become a trusted media partner

• Create audience-focused advertising solutions across NZME's platforms

• Grow existing accounts and uncover new business opportunities

• Achieve sales and revenue targets through strategic account management

• Use audience insights, analytics and market knowledge to inform recommendations

• Manage forecasting, reporting and CRM activity while maintaining a strong pipeline

• Collaborate with colleagues across NZME to deliver outstanding client outcomes

ABOUT YOU

You'll be commercially driven, relationship-focused and passionate about helping clients succeed.

You'll bring:

• Proven success in sales, account management or business development

• Experience delivering campaigns that achieve measurable results

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

• The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into growth

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• Experience in media, advertising or marketing (preferred)

• Knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape (advantageous)
