Bitumen Emulsion Sprayer Operator – Canterbury

Come and join our Christchurch Based Chip sealing Team! We are currently looking for a Bitumen Emulsion Sprayer Operator to join out team for the upcoming sealing season. With a brand new SRE sprayer on the way, all we need is a fantastic operator!

We're looking for a candidate who has a great attitude, strong work ethic and wants to contribute and refine their skills as part of our team. You will be part of a nationally recognized sealing crew, supervised by one of the best leaders in the business.

We have a healthy forward workload throughout Canterbury with potential for work across the South Island. You'll get accommodation provided and generous non-taxable away from home allowance per day when you travel!

What knowledge / experience / qualifications are we after?

• Class 5 license preferred with Dangerous Goods ticket
• Experience with SRE Sprayers and systems and an ability to keep gear clean and tidy to a high standard
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sprayer operation across all sealing works (first coats, reseals, second coats)
• Significant experience with bitumen and emulsion products, including polymers and spray rates across a variety of work
• Ability to travel outside of Canterbury Region when required
• Good communication skills and high Health and Safety Standards
• Be an honest, reliable team player with a positive attitude

WTR is also highly recommended but can be obtained with the right candidate.

We offer a guaranteed 40 working week, and a competitive hourly rate. Some Saturday

work will be required from time to time as required for the project, particularly during the summer months during reseal season.

You're big on Health & Safety in the workplace, dedicated to working safe and going home safe - and you expect the same of your work mates. All candidates will be required to undergo a pre employment drug and alcohol test.
