Food and Beverage Attendant - Part time

(Please note that you must already have work rights in New Zealand to be considered for this role)

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be at the heart of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your role is to provide exceptional service with a focus on attention to detail, initiative, and guest satisfaction. Whether serving in any of our Food and Beverage outlets, you will be a key part of delivering a WOW experience to every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel recognised, comfortable and well looked after throughout their experience.
• Providing attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders, delivering items, clearing tables and supporting a smooth dining experience.
• Learning menu items, beverages and hotel offerings so you can confidently answer guest questions and make helpful recommendations.
• Anticipating guest needs and looking for opportunities to create personalised moments that make their experience memorable.
• Handling guest concerns with empathy, urgency and professionalism, escalating matters where needed.
• Supporting upselling opportunities in a natural and confident way, including beverages, menu items and hotel offerings.
• Assisting with outlet set-up, presentation, cleanliness and closing duties in line with hotel standards.
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure service runs smoothly during busy periods.
• Following Food & Beverage procedures, health and safety requirements, and hotel service standards at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, restaurants, cafés, bars, banquets or another customer-facing role.
• A warm, confident and professional communication style, with strong spoken and written English.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering thoughtful, guest-focused service.
• The ability to stay calm, organised and helpful in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow service standards and procedures accurately.
• A proactive attitude, with the confidence to take initiative and support the wider team when needed.
• Professional grooming and presentation, in line with a luxury hotel environment.
• A positive team-focused attitude and willingness to work across different Food & Beverage outlets.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
