We're looking for an experienced and influential Digital Stabilisation Lead to drive a significant programme of work that will strengthen the foundations of our Digital Directorate and enable sustainable success across the organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile stabilisation programme focused on improving governance, accountability, resilience, assurance, reporting, and operational effectiveness across our digital environment.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll coordinate and drive strategic initiatives that enhance Digital's operating model, reduce risk, strengthen decision-making, and ensure critical improvements are embedded into business-as-usual operations.

While you won't have direct reports, you'll influence across teams, bring people together around shared goals, and help create lasting organisational capability through strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of the Digital Stabilisation Programme and its associated workstreams.
  • Building programme plans, implementation roadmaps, milestones and performance measures.
  • Driving governance and accountability frameworks across Digital platforms, services and data assets.
  • Coordinating resilience, risk and assurance activities.
  • Providing clear reporting and strategic advice to senior leaders and governance groups.
  • Supporting leaders to embed sustainable improvements and new ways of working.
  • Removing barriers, managing risks, and ensuring delivery commitments are achieved.

  • Extensive experience leading complex organisational programmes, digital transformation initiatives, or large-scale business improvement programmes.
  • Strong programme leadership and delivery expertise.
  • A proven ability to influence and achieve outcomes without direct line management authority.
  • Experience designing and implementing governance, accountability and reporting frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Confidence working with senior executives and governance forums.
  • The ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and maintain focus on results.
