Based in our Christchurch office, you'll work across a diverse range of land development and infrastructure projects throughout Canterbury and beyond, gaining exposure to both field and office-based work while continuing to grow your technical capability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering end-to-end surveying tasks across a range of land development and civil projects
• Carrying out fieldwork, data processing and plan preparation
• Supporting project delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking progress and meeting milestones
• Completing topographic and construction surveys to a high professional standard
• Working closely with planners, engineers and other consultants on multidisciplinary projects
• Communicating with clients and stakeholders on project progress and technical matters
• Supporting and guiding junior surveyors where appropriate
• Identifying risks and contributing to solutions to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor or Diploma in Surveying (or equivalent) preferred
• 2–5+ years' experience in civil construction and/or land development surveying
• Good working knowledge of New Zealand surveying principles and LINZ requirements
• Experience with survey software (e.g. AutoCAD, 12d, Leica Infinity)
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Someone who takes ownership of their work and enjoys being part of a team
• Cadastral experience is a bonus but not essential
• This role is based in our Christchurch office, so you'll need to be based in, or willing to relocate to the Christchurch region
