Te Tūranga – About the role

As a Junior End User Compute Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for our onsite IT support, helping our people stay connected and productive every day. You'll provide hands-on Level 1 and 2 technical support, manage hardware requests, resolve end-user issues, and work alongside our wider IT Operations team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll do

• Provide Level 1 and 2 onsite support through our Landing Drive Tech Desk.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and end-user technology issues.
• Set up and deploy laptops, desktops and other end-user devices.
• Manage hardware requests for new starters and existing team members.
• Support meeting room technology and onsite IT equipment.
• Work with remote support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Be an advocate for our users, ensuring a positive IT support experience.

He kōrero mōu - About you

• 1–2 years' experience in an IT Service Desk or Level 1 Support role.
• A passion for technology and helping people.
• Knowledge of Windows devices, Microsoft 365 and end-user computing technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach.
• Great attention to detail and documentation skills.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to thrive in a busy support environment.
