Event Manager

Open Circle is going on tour.

We're running 17 free community food truck nights across Tāmaki Makaurau from August to November 2026 - Warkworth to Pukekohe, one park at a time. We're looking for 1–2 energetic, people-first individuals to join us on the road as Event Managers / Event Assistants.

What you'll be doing:

• Running the event on the day - setup, signage, flow, pack-down
• Being the main point of contact for vendors and stakeholders on the ground
• Posting live social media content and updates throughout the event
• Ensuring every vendor, visitor, and crew member has a smooth experience
• Troubleshooting whatever comes up (and something always comes up)
• Helping build the Open Circle Tour into something the whole city talks about

What we're looking for:

• A social, warm personality - you're the face of the event on the night
• Your own vehicle and the ability to travel to locations across Auckland
• The ability to stay calm, think fast, and smile through the chaos
• Someone who takes pride in doing things properly
• Ideally a university student or recent grad - but we're open
